These beautifully crafted teardrop earrings are inspired by the magnificent Viking artifacts uncovered during excavations at the ancient settlement at Wood Quay in Dublin. Over a thousand years ago the Vikings raided and plundered Irish Monasteries and Churches for their gold and silver. The Vikings were driven out of Ireland by the Irish King Brian Boru but much of their heritage remains.

The earrings are absolutely beautiful! They look so elegant and the gold center bead really stands out amid the darker surrounding design. I appreciate the safety clasps although I personally have a harder time getting that type into my ears.
Earrings are just what I wanted, I have been looking at them for ages. They came over a week ago, plenty of time before christmas. My present to myself.
