Another beautiful Coatigan from Blarney Woolen Mills. I saw this color on a sweater my friend wore and thought I have to have it. I have pretty much traded out my Winter Jackets and Coats for these beautiful sweaters and coatigans. And they work just as well in our winters which are getting milder. I bought a Large and it fits nicely over a long sleeve sweater. Having a hood on it means I don't have to have a cap or ear muffs. Thank you. Another Hit!!!!!

Wow! Another beautiful, comfortable knit from Blarney Woollen Mills. This is my 4th large knit piece (sweaters or capes) from Blarney, and each one is a winner. This Caitlin is very warm and as cozy as a cocoon. The warmth is aided by a well-fitting hood, high collar (nicely substituting for a scarf), and great length. In my opinion, just follow the sizing guidance they offer. (The company told me that those are BODY measurements). I’m only 5 feet tall, normal weight (108 lbs.), but full-figured. Due to my chest & hip measurements, I ordered a medium per their chart and it’s perfect – contrary to the first review, I have plenty of room for even a heavy sweater (or a turtleneck and heavy sweater) underneath, but nor would I want to have it any smaller. Because I’m so short, I will tack the sleeve cuffs under, but that’s easy. The length makes it warmer, while the thoughtful slits on the sides enable me to walk or sit with ease. I chose the “Army,” which is to me a rich, dark slightly heathered hue. Even though I usually don’t wear green, it’s very nice and complements my white hair. I bet you will love this sweater, too; I think it’s higher cost is justified by the extra wool needed and the above-mentioned details, which add function. Just follow their sizing info and you will likely be very happy. I also HIGHLY recommend buying from Blarney. I've had the best customer service I’ve ever had from Blarney, and specifically from Lorraine, the great lady on the other end of any email addressed to customer service. While she's obviously busy and therefore it may take 2-3 work days to get a response, she has many times patiently answered questions re: the products and how they fit. I did use their free returns/exchange policy for another purchase (at the time of my order, free for returns from USA & EU; there's a link to return info at the bottom of many Blarney web pages). Because I'm hard to fit, I really appreciate this policy. A great company in my opinion: beautiful, well-made products, fair prices, free returns/exchanges at the time of this writing, and great customer service -- it doesn't get any better!

Excellent quality and the green color is amazing. Bought size large. Am 5’ 3” tall, 175 pounds. This very warm sweater has a snug body huggng fit, due to my weight. This makes it very warm. The hood is the best design I have ever seen, beautiful worn as a hood or as the collar where you see the inside knitting. Love it!

I bought this sweater in a size large, as I thought it would be roomy, like a coat. I am 68” tall, 145lbs. The fit is poor; the sleeves too long & too loose. I need to roll them, which I hate. But the fit around me is too tight. Zipping the sweater makes it hug my body like a tight fitting sheath dress. So I can’t go up or down size to help the fit - it’s just a poor fitting sweater (for me, anyway).
