This beautiful gift box contains 6 of Belleek's Classic Claddagh Mugs. It is inspired by the history of the Claddagh which dates back over four hundred years when a Spanish goldsmith fell in love with a girl from the Claddagh village. He crafted the first Claddagh ring for her. Since then the Claddagh has become a token of love throughout the world.

Beautiful Mugs packed very well.Love them.Shipping box was a little flimsy.

Bought these mugs last time we were in Ireland and love them! My husband is partial to the handles. They have enough room for his fingers and he feels they were made for gentlemen as well as ladies. I usually like more color in my china patterns, but I really like the way these look with the Claddagh! Plus, they are perfect for a cup of hot chocolate!!! Im sure they would be perfect for coffee also, but my vice is cocoa! I am quite happy with these mugs and can feel like I am back in Ireland for a little while every day.
