The fishermen from the islands of Inis Mor, Inis Meain and Inis Oírr developed a distinctive style of Irish knitwear in the 19th century that became known as the Aran sweater. Our Cliona V-neck Aran is knit in County Donegal from 100% supersoft merino wool with an all-over cable pattern. Exclusive to Blarney Woollen Mills, it is finished with a trendy dipped hem and side slits, with ribbed trims and a modern v-neckline.

Love, love this sweater. I just got it as a present and I don’t want to take it off! Incredibly warm without being bulky, itch free (I’m allergic to all wools except merino), and the drop rear hem is just perfect. No more cold bum! I’m only 5’1” but I love the length. Perfect with leggings!
