The St Brigid's cross is an Irish religious symbol. The cross is usually made from woven rushes and is thought to keep evil, fire and hunger from the home in which it is displayed. Starting February 1st, the cross is placed inside the house above a door to welcome spring and celebrate the feast day of St. Brigid. This beautiful sterling silver pendant includes Connemara marble. The cross is worn to protect heart and home.

RobynBeautiful piece. I am very happy with this purchase. It arrived on time and was packaged very well. Anytime I have ordered from Blarney , it has always been a good experience and quality merchandise.
Laura NI can't begin to tell you how happy my wife and I are having just gotten our order--very much ahead of time. The St. Bridget's cross and chain are even more beautiful than your website shows. My wife's family are all from County Cork so she was even more pleased to "keep this order in the family". These will be gifts for two women who will be entering the Catholic Church on Easter Saturday Night. Since our parish is named after St. Bridget of Kildare, what could be more appropriate?
Mike & MaryThis is a perfect St Bridget cross. It's just what I always wanted.
