The Tara Brooch is a Celtic brooch from around 700 AD and is generally considered to be the most impressive of over 50 elaborate Irish brooches to have been discovered. Our traditional brooch is enhanced with unique pieces of Connemara marble, one of the world’s oldest minerals and rarest marbles in the world.

The brooch is a lovely piece of jewelry. It appears well made and goes with everything in my closet. One question: when you wear it on a skirt/kilt is it supposed to be vertical rather than at an angle?
