I bought this sweater (or one nearly identical) over a decade ago. I originally purchased it in person in 2009 and it has held it's quality well. It's a soft fabric and shows minimal piling for it's age. It is very warm and had been a staple winter sweater in my collection. I have had relatively good success hand washing it in cold water followed by laying out to dry but it was accidently thrown in to a wash with warm/hot water which shrunk the sweater beyond repair. I can only confirm that dry cleaning is probably the only safe way to clean the sweater. It's still good enough that I'm considering ordering a new one to replace my original.

This is going to be a Christmas gift, and I have looked at it and it looks lovely and warm. I'm sure it will be very welcome on Christmas morning!
