While the crystal shakers are beautiful I was very disappointed in the silver tops. With something this beautiful I anticipated the silver tops to be at least sterling silver. They are not. They are plastic with a coating of paint. After having washed the tops the color has already faded a bit. So sad. I was really excited about getting them. There will be no way to replace the tops unless the company has that option.
