I agree with the other reviewers. This nightgown is soft and cool and sturdy. I wish Blarney woolen mills carried more clothing in xs sizes for us short slight women. I still really like this gown even though it is big on me.

Last month we visited the Blarney Castle and saw the Blarney Woolen Mills Shop...Oh! My! Wonderful! I found this lovely little lacy, cotton nightgown (called the Katherine). I was put off at first because I thought it would shrink tooo much - being cotton. I decided to try it and it DID NOT shrink up and turn ratty ! I did not baby it in the laundry either. It is absolutely my favorite gown. It s pretty and being cotton, for women of a certain age who get hot at night sometimes, cotton is great! I have to say the picture here is a bit odd. I think they tried to shape it for the photo. It looks better ON than what appears in the photo. Try it, you ll LOVE it!
