How to measure a sweater

1. Sleeve length (overarm)

Lay a sweater on a flat surface, front side down
Using measuring tape, measure the distance from the center of the back of the neck to the cuff hem

2. Body length

Lay a sweater on a flat surface
Using a measuring tape, measure the distance from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem

3. Chest

Lay a sweater on a flat surface
Using measuring tape, measure the distance from underarm to underarm
Double the number (e.g. if the distance is 22”, the chest measurement is 44”)

Product Care

Wool has naturally self-cleaning properties and will keep its shape and quality for longer with the right kind of care. Try airing after use, and, to ensure it has a long life, we recommend that our knitwear is dry cleaned only. When storing, fold, rather than hang, as this will help knitwear retain its shape for longer.

The moss green hand knit merino is exquisite! The colour is more of a heather green instead of "moss" as it is beautiful shades of a soft green which is lovely!! The merino wool is soft and the hand knit Irish design are magnificent!!! I am enjoying wearing it in NZ especially when sailing and watching the America's Cup in Auckland on a chilly day or when we go to the "Alps" of South Island for the air show. Thank you Blarney Woollen Mills for offering wonderful Irish products and to Lorraine Ahern for excellent service delivering these gifts of beauty.
