This is such a pretty vest and so useful! In the in-between season I am using it under a light jean jacket and allowing the color to show around the collar. It adds an extra layer of warmth this Spring. But it is at its best when seen by itself, just being there. So quintessentially Irish, so traditional and yet very hip. I love the longer length on both vests and jackets and wish they were easier to find, but here it is in this pretty vest. I ordered the green. I was really torn between the blur and the green. Both shades are so nice and go with everything. Every time I wear it my husband notices and remarks on how nice it looks. It is very slimming. I think he wouldn't even mind if I ordered another in blue :) The only thing it might lack, if I were being picky, would be a way to fasten it against the breeze. It does not have buttons. But maybe a single toggle button in a Celtic design would look good? Oh but it's just so nice-looking with its own drape.
