Better than other aran’s Available on the Internet. The sloping sleeve means there is room under the arm and shirts don’t get tightly bunched up. The wool is soft and warm but for me I prefer that chunkier almost waxy original Aran wool. The collar starts a bit too low down on the shoulder so looks a bit weird. Overall, for the price, a good buy.

Fantastic sweater!! Quick shipping! Christmas present for my husband and he’s barely taken it off since he opened it!! I could picture him in it with his flat cap hat smoking a cigar! I just received my sweater and my honest first impression was WOW! It’s beautiful! You can tell just by looking at it the work and care that goes into making it, and it only took 3 days to come to Illinois USA all the way from Ireland!! Thank you so very much to Lorraine and everyone that had a hand in making and delivering it. It’s perfect for our very cold and harsh winters we get here in Illinois.

Excellent sweater, very warm and you can leave the collar down or zip up so no need for a scarf. You can also zip it up and roll it down halfway, like a turtleneck. Good quality, and I am always surprised that its so difficult get pure wool sweaters like this in the US. We seem to love out petroleum mixed products here (polyester, rayon, nylon, etc.). Well worth the money. Just leave 3 weeks for delivery due to our US customs policy to snoop through our packages.
