This charming heart-shaped jewelry box is beautifully embossed with a traditional Claddagh symbol. The design of the Claddagh has many origin stories, the most popular being that Richard Joyce made the design for his bride to be back in 1689, in the town of Claddagh, Co. Galway. The elements of the symbols are "hands for friendship", "heart for love" and "crown for loyalty".
