This hand-crafted wall plaque from O'Gowna Studio displays the Irish word ‘Grá’, meaning love, alongside its English translation. It has been hand-crafted with letters from the Ogham alphabet, first invented along with the Gaelic language soon after the fall of the Tower of Babel by the legendary Scythian king, Fenius Farsa. It is sometimes called the "celtic tree alphabet", and is based on a high medieval Bríatharogam tradition ascribing names of trees to the individual letters.
