I purchased this as a gift and had it sent directly to her. I haven’t seen it in person yet. I chose it for the symbolism I saw in it. ( bare with me here!) First, since we are close, I thought the Claddagh necklace was perfect; no worrying about sizes. Also, it was her 70th birthday and if you count the hoops made by the braid, there are 7. One for each decade.(nope! She didn’t catch it either! Hence, the symbolism!) However, now she knows how much thought I put into this gift! End result: she loves it! I knew she would! ( Now what to do when she turns 80?!)
