Sarah McKenna Ceramics was founded in 2006. Made in Sarah's studio in Dundalk, County Louth, each handmade pottery piece has layers of messages created using patterns and text that subtly say little things people want to tell each other without saying it out loud. 

The handmade ceramic tile in this frame is impressed with a modern geometric pattern, adorned with a simple line drawing of a road winding into the distance and a bright yellow glossy moon in the sky.

The imprinted text “enjoy the journey, embrace the detours” is a reminder that we should have fun and enjoy the bends that appear on our journey of life. The perfect Irish gift for those starting a new journey in their life.
