Gorgeous sweater! Beautifully made. My husband usually wears a U.S. Large Tall, as this size accomodates a long torso and arms (34-35 in). This sweater squeaked by on the torso length. An XL would have been too baggy. The arms on the size L were perfect.

I'm 5'7" and 130 lbs. I was a little anxious as thick sweaters I purchased in the past were often too big, even in size small. I purchased a small and happy to report that it fits like a dream. Perfect length, perfect sleeves, comfortably roomy in body, thick but breathable. If you've been wanting a hand-knit Aran sweater, this is it. Get it.

My Hand knit Aran fisherman knit sweater arrived this 2nd NZ wintry day, after spending 3 months in quarantine in Dublin, but as the saying goes better late than never! This merino green "jumper" as Kiwis say, doesn't have a stitch out of place and the detailed designs are perfect. I've waited 35 years to buy a green hand knit sweater as when my sister and I visited Dublin and the Ring of Kerry, I searched high and low, but could not find one - only a kelly green cardigan, but I wanted heather green, which this one is!! Sister Sue did buy a cream one, but I had my heart set on a green like the Irish fields. I received my sweater today and couldn’t be more happy with it! It is very well made and fits to size. Originally was going to get the Natural but by the time I went to order they were sold out in my size so I went with the green. So glad the natural was out bc the green is really sharp!

I once owned a similar sweater during my college days a long time ago, and didn't appreciate it then. I now just received a better hand-knit version from here, and I have to say this really is the finest single article of clothing I now own. And it came in the post just as the weather has turned quite chilly and nasty around these parts. I ordered a medium, and it fits me PERFECT! My girlfriend is a beginner knitter and she is simply in awe by the fine quality of work the knitter of this sweater put into her craft. She say's it's a masterpiece! I have to agree.

So far so good. Very comfortable. My biggest problem is that it doesn't get cold enough here so I don't get to wear it often. I typically wear a large, but after looking at the size guide I ordered a medium. That was the right choice. It fits perfectly.
