How to measure a coat/jacket

1. Sleeve length (overarm)

Lay a coat/jacket on a flat surface, front side down
Using measuring tape, measure the distance from the center of the back of the neck to the cuff edge

2. Chest

Lay a coat/jacket on a flat surface
Using measuring tape, measure the distance from underarm to underarm
Double the number (e.g. if the distance is 22”, the chest measurement is 44”)

3. Body length

Lay a coat/jacket on a flat surface
Using a measuring tape, measure the distance from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom of the garment.

I bought this vest in March 2013 while on a visit to Blarney. I wore it under a wind-breaker/raincoat the entire week I was in Ireland and couldn't be more pleased with it. It is very high quality, warm, and stylish. I wear it with everything from jeans to khakis to dress trousers. I'm even wearing it now as I write this.
