Love this cape! Beautifully made, warm & looks great. Really good value.

This cape is lovely. The camel color is pretty and the material soft. I gave 4 stars because the attached scarf is an odd length. The "sides" are different lengths and I find it difficult to tie. The bow shown I cannot achieve.

This website works poorly with Safari browser. Two (2) stars only. I bought the same item 10 years ago during a visit to Ireland, and it was much better quality. The manufacturer has taken many steps to reduce costs, and it shows in the product. The fabric has a lower percentage of cashmere, so it is not as soft and not as warm. The cape is not as long and not as full as it was previously. This means that less fabric has been used. Also, the earlier version had side stitching below the arms. The lack of side stitching below the arms means that every time the wind blows, the cape blows in the air, and cold air gets inside the cape. Who wants a product that makes you colder than it should? Over all, I can't really recommend this product, even though I bought it recently. I had to have someone add the side stitching. Who wants to alter something like a cape? Blarney Woolen Mills needs to work with the manufacturer to reinstate older standards. Shame on all who had a part in cheapening this product

Received my cape today. Absolutely love it. Light weight and stunning in purple. Took lesss than a week to receive and I live in a rural community.

Prompt delivery, beautiful colour (purple) and lovely, soft material. The quality is good too, but then again, it should be for the price. What I am very disappointed about is that I thought I was buying a product made in an Irish woollen mill. There was nothing on the website description to say otherwise - and the cape was "Made in Slovakia". I feel cheated by this.

I ordered a travel Cape about a week or so ago and received it today. It looks wonderful and should be marvelous for travelling. I enjoyed my experience with Blarney Mills and will certainly sing your praises to my friends.

There's nothing like good Irish wool to keep the elements at bay. I have had my cape for a couple of years now and find that I wear it through all of the seasons. It's lightweight and only one layer of wool, so if you re wearing it alone it works particularly well in the spring and fall, when you need just enough added warmth to take off the chill but not so much that you would be too warm. While it's not waterproof, it is water resistant, so it comes in very handy for those quick dashes between the car and the house or shop during a rainstorm. In the winter, I pair it with the Donegal wool long cardigan, and the two together easily keep me warm. Then I have the advantage of layering, which comes in handy when you enter a building that is too warm for a coat but not quite warm enough to go without. I also love the combination hood/scarf. Attractive and extremely versatile--that is this cape in a nutshell.
