What is involved in Magical Blarney?

Magical Blarney is a traditional, family centric, Santa experience, hosted in the beautiful setting of Blarney Woollen Mills, Blarney, Cork.

 The experience begins when you join us on the ground floor of the store where you will receive your Magical Blarney Wristband at the “North Pole check in” Keep these wristbands safe as they contain all the magical and personalised information that you provided at booking. 

From here, you will ascend to Magical Blarney via the “Elfator” where you will be greeted in the North Pole post office” and be checked off on Santa’s arrival list. 

On your journey through Magical Blarney you will meet many of Santa’s elves, through “Elf avenue” where our elves live on their days off and into “Elf Plaza” where you will make your wish for 2024 and hang your star on our tree for Santa to read. Join us then in Santa’s kitchen where you will meet more elves and learn the secret reindeer food recipe, you may even get some to take home!
 Next stop is the all important “Santa courtyard” where Judge Judy will greet you and check those wristbands! You will learn if you are on the naughty or nice list (Fingers crossed!)

Once you have made it through the naughty or nice test, you will go to meet the big red man himself, Santa Claus!Santa will use the information provided on booking to guide the conversation and create a memorable and personalised visit for your family.
At the end of the visit, our elf will have an age appropriate gift to give out to each child to finish the experience.

Whilst in the cabin, a professional photograph will be taken of the group as a wonderful keepsake. These will be printed, and will be available for collection just after your visit on the exit to Magical Blarney.

How do I book Magical Blarney?

We take all bookings online at www.magicalblarney.com. We are unable to take bookings via phone or email due to the volume of bookings. However our Magical Elves are at hand to assist you to make your online booking should you need help. Please email [email protected]

How much are tickets?

Children/Babies €13.95
Adults: €2.00 (Maximum of 4 adults per booking)

Everyone attending Magical Blarney must have a ticket. A maximum of 4 adults per booking dues to space restrictions. 

My older child wants to visit Santa too, what ticket should I buy?

Older children can purchase a “Child Ticket” if they wish to visit Santa and receive a present. The same is true for older children who do not wish to receive a present – an “Adult Ticket” can be purchased to attend the experience and photo only without a gift. (Please note a maximum of 4 adult tickets per booking)

Do I need a ticket for a baby?

Yes, babies are €13.95 and they will receive an age appropriate present. Buggies are allowed and can either come through the experience with you or they can be left at the designated area and collected after your Magical Blarney Experience.

What do I need to bring with me on the day of my visit?

You will need: your printed ticket or confirmation of your booking, smartphone email confirmation is sufficient

Can I combine my visit with another family?

No all bookings are individual and cannot be combined. Each booking group will walk through the experience and visit Santa separately. This is to ensure the magical experience via the wristbands runs smoothly.

Do you offer a professional photo?

Yes, included in your booking is a professional photograph.  The photo comes in a Magical Blarney photo wallet for safekeeping and is a wonderful keepsake of the visit. Additional copies of the photo may be purchased on the day if necessary. You are welcome to take your own photos throughout the experience also.

Is there accommodation on site?

Yes, Magical Blarney takes place in the Blarney Woollen Mills complex. Our onsite hotel can be booked on www.blarneywoollenmillshotel.com

Is there parking at Magical Blarney?

Yes, parking is on site and free of charge. We would advise on weekends and the week leading up to Christmas that you allow ample time for getting here and parking   

Can I change dates or cancel my booking?

Customers can change their date/time of booking with a minimum of 48 hour notice. We will do our very best to accommodate if you are unable to attend. Where possible your tickets can be transferred to other available date.

Transaction/Booking Fee

There is a €2.95 booking fee per transaction for the costs associated with the ticketing system and also for the installation and maintenance of computer software. This fee is non refundable.

What do I do if my ticket receipt has not been emailed to me?

Tickets will automatically be emailed to the address you entered upon payment of your tickets. Tickets must be paid for at time of booking. Please first check your junk/spam folder and if you still have not received please email [email protected] where we can assist.

Can we add extra adults/children to our booking?

We cannot add extra adults and children to existing bookings, however we can cancel these bookings within the 48 hour notice period, and you may rebook your whole group together. Please email [email protected] for assistance. 

What do I do if I don’t like the gift my child receives?

All our presents are age/gender appropriate and chosen with care to appeal to the broader tastes of each particular age group. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your gift.

Are pets allowed?

No, only guide dogs are allowed in the Magical Blarney Experience.

What happens if we’re late to our scheduled time at Magical Blarney?

We cannot guarantee that you will be able to enter Magical Blarney if you are late. We will do our best to reschedule you into the next available timeslot available.
