ESTABLISHED 1823

A family run Irish business since 1823

Blarney Woollen Mills is more than just a destination—it’s a legacy stitched into the very fabric of Ireland. Established in 1823 as a working woollen mill, it once echoed with the rhythm of spinning wheels and the soft rustle of woven dreams.

In 1970, the mill closed, a short sleep waiting for a new vision. Til in 1975, with a spark and a heart full of heritage, Christy Kelleher breathed new life into its storied walls. Today, the Mills stand as the shop dedicated to Irish fashion, artisan crafts, gourmet delicacies, and folklore-laced finds, all housed beneath the romantically rambling roofs of the old mill.

In 2024, the sound of knitting returned. The Blarney Aran experience with it's four knitting machines, brings limited capacity back.

Step inside, and you don’t just shop—you journey through Ireland’s soul, one finely-woven thread at a time.
