This cardigan is very comfortable and warm. I love it very much. It is not the first one I have. I lived in Ireland for many years and could buy them. Now I am not there anymore but I still love these irish wool cardigans. Now I can order them. I am sure next winter I will order another one.

LOVE, Love, love this sweater. I bought it for myself after trying on my dtrs 5 yr old one. She has loved it since we were in Bunratty in May one year and it was cold. She told me she rarely wore it when she lived in CA but moved here to GA and had been wearing it on cool windy days. So ok, I bought it and love it Fits well (XL) is warm but not hot and as I wear a lot of Ruana's is the perfect sweater to wear underneath. I have gotten compliments on my charcoal selection and people have been amazed I did not pay $200 for it. Perfect for weather that starts out cold in hte a.m. and then gets to around 50 or so. I am thinking that next fall, I will be treating my self to another in white or if by chance it would come in purple or red I would get that.

The sweater has a beautiful design, and the weight and quality are lovely. However, I must say that I am disappointed with the fit. There is a 3-inch gap between my armpit and the armpit of the sweater. Sadly, I will not be purchasing another sweater in the future.

I ordered the woodland green, and the color is gorgeous. I got the small and was worried I might have needed a medium, but I went off of the stated measurements and it fits exactly like I wanted it to. Sooo soft, and a perfect weight. Couldn’t be happier!

in 2016 we were in the store in Bunratty and our daughter bought this sweater in the green color. She has raved about it since she moved from CA to GA so I tried hers on for sizing and bought a L. It is cut generously but not baggy. It is warm and semi windproof and just feels cozy. I love the hood - did not think I would use it but I have. The buttons are sewn on well and the holes are tight but not so that the buttons are hard to get thru. I just love this sweater and I know I will be getting another.

I was torn on the sizing for this since I took measurements of my other sweaters to guess the size and even the smallest was much larger than any sweaters I own. Im 5'6" and 155 lbs or so with a 38" chest and 30" waist. I ordered a medium and it is nice, loose and drapes how I wanted it to! Honestly I could probably have had a small and it would have fit just fine too. Thankfully my husband talked me down from a large. The green color has a pretty mix of two shades. Only minor complaint is it is fuzzes some on the forearms. This is my go-to wfh sweater and will be loved for many years.

Love, love, love! This cozy sweater is just what I was looking for - I love the pockets, hood, buttons. I just wish it came in XS. I am 5'4", 115lbs, and it is a little big. I don't feel overwhelmed in it, though. The yarn has just a hint of itchiness, but it does not bother me and I am super sensitive. I have gotten lots of compliments.

I bought this cardigan in green (woodland). I'm a size 12/14 usually but decided to buy the XL size so that I could wear it over a jumper. In the end it looks fine without a jumper in cooler temperatures (around 15°C) sitting outside in the garden on a summer's evening. I have to admit I don't mind if garments are a bit baggy to hide my bulges! The wool is very soft and I love the hood. Just perfect for keeping my head and neck warm if there's a little breeze! The colour is a dark khaki which makes a nice change from black or navy. Not too expensive considering it's 100% merino wool. Very pleased and will maybe buy more if available in spring or summer colours.

I bought this lovely cardigan in woodland green for spring and autumn days. It's also perfect for coolish summer evenings outdoors in Ireland or France's Normandy or Brittany. The wool is lovely and soft, very warm and snug. I usually buy UK size 14, but I bought this cardigan in XL deliberately, so that I could wear it on top of a sweater in winter, or as a "coat" the rest of the year, depending on the temperature. I LOVE the hood! Delivery was quick to France, and the cardigan was well-wrapped. Now I just have to make sure that the moths don't get to it otherwise it'll be full of holes!

I bought this sweater when I was studying abroad in Cork, and I absolutely loved it. Gorgeous design, flattering fit, surprisingly soft. Disaster struck when, despite knowing you should keep wool away from the washer/dryer, I thought I could wash it in the machine on cold and then air dry it—nope! It shrunk :( The error is all mine, and I hope they get this sweater back in stock so I can buy another one! Can’t recommend this sweater highly enough.

Lovely sweater with all the design qualities I was looking for! BUT... if you wish to wear it as shown on the model, plan on upsizing. I read a previous review of a buyer who can put a sweater under this cardigan - and her bust size is just one (band) size smaller than mine... so I bought a large. It buttons with just a t-shirt under it, but it's on the verge of pulling. And I'm tall 5'11" - but then so are models usually, so I expected the length to be similar. It's not. It doesn't come close to covering my bum. And the sleeves JUST hit my wrists. All in all, it's a lovely sweater, but at my height and with my bust size, I'm not sure even an XL would allow for an oversized, almost tunic length, as shown. It fits like a traditional cardigan. Now to keep my husband from shrinking it as it has NO extra room to spare!

I got my sweater yesterday and have been wearing it since. It's so nice, cozy and will keep you warm. The quality is excellent and it should last a long time. I'm 5'2 with 34DD chest and 39" hips and the small fit nice with plenty of room to fit a sweater under it. The sleeves are a perfect length and no need to roll them up. The overall length is a few inches longer on me than the model, comes to mid thigh. The woodland color is a nice dark green. Thanks Lorraine for your help. Love my sweater!!!

I love this sweater. It is cozy and I get tons of compliments on it. It was a gift and the smallest size they had was medium. I wish they had it in a small as the sleeves were very long and it was a bit wide for me. I shrunk it so that it would fit better and now it is a little bulky, but I still love it and wear it all the time!!
