Care guide

For gentle care, wash with a non-bio detergent and dry naturally. Hand washing in a bath is recommended to avoid harsh treatment. Avoid using woolwash, as it is not suitable for the pelt and can cause the sheepskin to become damaged, hard, or stiff. Also, avoid biological detergents, which contain enzymes that can harm the hide. Use only non-bio detergents to keep both the wool and the pelt in good condition.

Once I finally got my product after emailing back and forth with Lorraine (she was so helpful) I received my product when my wife and I got home from our vacation.Luckily I had a neighbor kind enough to get it for me.

These rugs are just wonderful. I got one years ago and sadly last year wine got spilled all over it thanks to one of my Doodles tails. I didn’t have the correct detergent so my husband used Woolite! The wine came out but it shrunk and the hide is hard and feels like it would crack. It still looks pretty good but nothing like it did. I will search for the correct detergent to keep on hand lol Just a stiff wire brush occasionally and shake it out, it will be beautiful for years to come.

This rug was surprisingly large and oh, sooooo soft. Lovely quality and the skin was perfectly cured. We used it on a chair for a lamb themed party and also used one thrown over a table and decorated with other lamb themed items. Definitely a hit!

I purchased one sheepskin rug and it is far too nice to walk on. I have it on the foot of my bed and call it my pet. Where I live, anyone who walks into my room walks by by bed and pets it. That's why it's called my pet. I enjoyed that sheepskin so much I ordered another one and it is in my recliner. It is so nice to borrow into on a cold afternoon or evening. Right now I'm trying to figure out where I could put a third sheepskin as I really want to order another one.

We spent the month of September in Ireland. Shopping consisted of lovely sweaters and gifts for friends. I wanted a sheepskin but waited until we returned home and they went on sale at Blarney Woolen Mills. I bought two of the smaller size and i couldn't be more pleased.
