The St. Brigid's cross is an Irish religious symbol. The cross is made from woven rushes on February 1st and is thought to keep evil, fire and hunger from the home in which it is displayed. This beautiful pendant includes bronze accents and is worn to protect heart and home.

The necklace was very nice but the chain on it was so tangled in transit that I had to return the order. Too bad. Needs better packing.
