This beautiful handwoven woollen throw illustrates the timeless story of a stormy day in the hills of County Donegal. A stormy day starts bright. Gently rainclouds start to gather. The sky becomes slowly gray, grayer and black. Little by little you get flashes of yellows, purples and blues. The brilliant white of the thunderbolt and lightening flash through the skies darken with the wild driving rain. The rain fades leaving you with the emerald verdant growth of Ireland and a new bright day.

What a gorgeous throw! It's very large and very thick and woven beautifully with bold color combos that work amazingly well with our living room decor. Worried about scratchiness, but certainly not a problem with use. It would be better to picture the entire throw not folded as the majority of it is blocks of gray, and the color part shown is a trim on one side, but no matter, so happy with it! Also, wish we'd waited until sale, but again no matter, still worth it!
