I just wanted to let you know how happy my husband and I are with your men's Aran sweaters. I had been searching for Irish knit sweaters in wool for a few years here in the USA. My husband was enjoying his traditional pullover that he had purchased on a long ago trip to Ireland, but we were unable to locate colored ones in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Finally, I located your site by searching Irish discussion sites. I ordered the dark green one for him last Christmas and quickly followed up with the navy blue one after that holiday. I was worried when I got your mail as I was not getting back to Malaysia until 16 August and if the parcel would be returned to you, but luckily it was delivered when the dog sitter was at home. The box was damaged and I took a picture of it expecting some damage, but it was just like Christmas opening everything and having it all in impecable condition. I have moved internationally a few times and to see the packaging, I know someone took a lot of effort to make sure everything was securely packed. Hello, my name is Dianne and my husband and I visited Ireland in May of this year. I purchased several of your sweaters and other items in your store. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. I even ordered some online after returning home. When I turned on my TV this morning I saw that the QVC channel is having Emerald Isles Day, and that today is " Rose of Tralee" day. They are selling Kilronan sweaters. These are supposed to be sale priced and they're saying they are cheaper than they would be even if you bought them in Ireland. I want to say, your sweaters are apparently of much better quality! As far as their discounted prices, your normal prices beat what they are selling as discounted. Plus they charge taxes, and shipping and handling. I would much rather have yours! I will be ordering again from you for Christmas, that's for sure. We hope to return to Ireland again this spring and I can't wait! One thing for sure, I will definitely be shopping in your store!

I bought them for my almost daughter in law's 30th birthday in June. I was a bit 'iffy' about how well they would travel to Australia but am very happy with them. I received my charcoal grey, Aran knit merino wool, full-zip, hoodie/sweater today and the fit is absolutely perfect. I was nervous because we ordered the medium for our daughter and she had to exchange it in Cork for a small. I was afraid this might be huge but it is so nicely proportioned. It is so warm and comfortable but the styling is very smart and flattering. I am sure I will get many compliments. I also noticed the care in which the garment was shipped. It's not everyday one sees a sweater shipped so nicely. I really appreciate this garment. It's perfect for our Chicago winters and my daughter is enjoying hers while traipsing around Ireland this semester.

The first time I experieced Blarney Woollen Mills was when I visited Ireland for the second time back in 2007. I was in love with the shop and had a hard time selecting my purchases - I wanted the whole store! I bought items for myself as well as my family and also for the baby I was carrying at the time. Little did I know I was going to have a girl. So, after my baby was born I started internet shopping with Blarney Woolen Mills and promptly ordered her a magic hanky. Fourteen months later, when her sister arrived, I contacted Ms. Ahern about ordering another one, as I couldn t find it anymore on the website. At that time they weren t offering one through internet sales, but Ms. Ahern sold me one and promptly shipped it to me. I was SO appreciative!! I have been shopping with Blarney Woolen Mills ever since. Their customer service is an example that MANY retailers here in the states should follow. I have never had a bad experience with the Mills and I cant wait to return.
